Over three decades before the advent of "Mixed Martial Arts", a revolutionary art training process was developed by the legendary Bruce Lee Brooklyn NY. This art advanced the principles of "totality" in martial art training with "realistic" and scientific training methods, and "complete freedom" for the individual practitioner. Lee named the cutting edge martial art training process he developed "Jeet Kune Do Brooklyn NY." This training process forms the foundation of what is taught at NY Martial Arts Academy.
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu teaches a practitioner to go to the ground and try to submit. What happens if there are multiple attackers or weapons involved? Lastly, classes are taught without the traditional Judo/ Jiu Jitsu Gi because it is more realistic for the streets in Brooklyn.
