Weapon Training

One of the 5 aspects of combat is weapons training.  When training in street effective combat arts.  Weapons training is an important aspect that should not be ignored. 
 
Unfortunately in today's society, a lot of people carry knives or some sort of piercing weapon.  At New York Martial Arts Academy we believe that the first thing a person should do when they see a knife is run.  But sometimes that is simply not an option.  This is why weapon training is important.
 
When running is not an option that is when your training becomes invaluable.  Here we teach weapon to weapon and empty hand to weapon.  In order for our student to not only understand the dangers of the weapon but to also be versed in the handling of said weapons.
